This full-day course provides a comprehensive overview of large onsite sewage system design and the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) process. Participants will review wastewater flow estimation, treatment system selection, and water resource impact assessments, with a focus on protecting groundwater and surface water in sensitive environments. The course also covers the MECP pre-consultation process, key design considerations, and how to prepare and review ECA applications. Designed to build on Level 1 and Level 2 training, it equips professionals with the knowledge needed to navigate regulatory requirements and develop effective large system designs.
