OOWA’s Regional Meetings are an opportunity for members and non-members alike from across the province to come together, network and learn from each other. Join us at the end of your working day for a meal, to talk shop and to sharpen your skills with the help of friends and colleagues.

Agenda: 3:30 – 4:00 pm – Check-in and choose your beverage
4:00 – 5:00 pm - Networking and Sponsor Booths
5:00 – 5:30 pm – Burgers, Salad, Chips, etc
5:30 – 6:30 pm – Presentations; Terry Rees from FOCA will summarize the kind of outreach they have been doing as well as sharing with us what long-term rural waterfront owners want in relation to septic systems; Mike Dolbey from the Kawartha Lakes Stewards Association will discuss concerns about pathogens, the ongoing E.coli testing program, and concerns about phosphorus in our water bodies.

Pre-Registration is requested at all the Regional Meetings. This helps us plan for a successful event with enough food and beverage for all.
This is an outdoor event, with a covered deck area in case of rain.
Limit of one alcoholic beverage per person.

Cancellation Policy: There is no alternative date for this event. Should there be unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather, a cancellation notice will be sent to all registrants and registration costs would be reimbursed.
If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. Full refunds for cancellations due to illness will be provided if notice is given prior to 2 p.m. on the day of the event.
