This one day course will take participants beyond conventional on-site sewage treatment system design principles covered in our introductory design course and introduce them to concepts such as high strength waste streams, grease removal, balancing tanks, complex pumping/dosing arrangements, using advanced treatment units for higher strength waste and large leaching bed design. This course will also cover methods of total nitrogen and phosphorous removal through on-site wastewater systems.

Suggested Pre-Requisite: Five-Day Part 8 Licensing Course or equivalent experience; Soils 101 course beneficial
