This full day course is an introductory level workshop that is intended to help participants develop skills to recognize when a pump is required, what type of information is needed to make an appropriate pump selection, and how to decide what types of controls will be required. This session will focus and Part 8 requirements including basic calculations for sizing the pump, the pump chamber and the float settings, including dosing calculations for demand dosing.

This course may qualify for continuing education credits (e.g for PEO or OBOA). Please check with your association to confirm.
Suggested Pre-Requisite: Five-Day Part 8 Licensing Course or equivalent experience.
Please note that for this venue there is a paid parking lot behind the library on Queen Street. It is referred to as Lot 50.
Cancellation Policy:
Upon written request to op-coordinator@oowa.org, refunds will be issued in accordance with the following:
Request received at least 7 days prior to the event: refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee
Request received 2-6 days prior to the event: refund after the event occurs. If the spot is filled, a $25 cancellation fee applies. If the spot is not filled, a $50 cancellation fee applies.
Request received less than 2 days in advance: refund at the discretion of the Operations Coordinator.
